Summary/Abstract: The article describes the specifics of the motto and of the logo of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The text focuses on the semiotics aspects of the Bulgarian Presidency’s advertising campaign and tries to present the image of our Presidency from a linguistics point of view. Special attention is paid to the symbols and to the messages used in the materials. There is a short comparison between the advertising campaign of the Bulgarian Presidency and the advertising campaigns of the Estonian Presidency and of the Austrian Presidency too.
