Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to examine the issue of the singularity of vulnerability as a key socioanalytical problem, by focusing on a specific experience of illness. The first part looks at the developments in the analyses of body memory and embodiment presented in the phenomenological psychopathology of Thomas Fuchs. The second part aims to further develop the problem by examining specific empirical data related to the returning-of-the-illness in the everyday life of the individual. With this, it becomes possible to see, that at the core of the case is a specific vulnerable attunement to the world, which enables a unique experience of (social) suffering, that goes beyond the everyday expectation of what has already been heard and seen.
