International Court Interpreting - a New Professional Practice

Summary/Abstract: We will approach here the technical aspects of this new professional practice which is from now on international judiciary interpreting. Inseparable of the conference interpreting, this here is therefore also led by the founding principles which AIIC has set for the entire profession. The lines that will follow are the expression of a first modest step in the indispensable debate intended to establish the existence itself of international judiciary interpreting, setting aside the risks that threaten it. We will be approaching the following subjects: Danger threatening international judiciary interpreters; Potential disunity sources among interpreters; Some solving propositions.
