Summary/Abstract: This article compares the regulation on terminating the employment contract at the initiative of the employer between the Estonian Employment Contract Act and the Vietnamese Labour Code. The comparison is done in the theory of flexicurity to give some recommendations for reforming these regulations of the Vietnamese Labour Code.
