Summary/Abstract: In his essay Meier tries to answer the question what is political theology. He summarizes the history of this conception which 1935 was introduced to the literature by Carl Schmitt who also contributed a lot to propagation of this idea. The author concludes that political theology is a theory, doctrine or political attitude in which God’s Revelation is the most important element, is actually its foundation.
