Post-war Renewal of Infrastructure in Horný Zemplín 1945–1948

Summary/Abstract: The main focus of the given study is put on the analysis of the post-war process of infrastructure renewal and as the case may be its biggest obstacles in the region of Horný Zemplín. In addition, the study follows the most important regional specifications which are among others the geographical location of the analysed region, its inter-war economic development and last not least the amount of suffered military damage in the last years of the war. The process of the infrastructure renewal, especially its obstacles, nevertheless will be objectively studied from the point of view of important state wise contexts such as post-war thought-out capacity, the capacity of the workforce or the economic situation.
