Summary/Abstract: The article presents Thomas Aquinas’s conception of natural law understood as “ius” (entitlements, rights). These entitlements have their natural foundation in the personal structure of the human being (nature) and its inborn inclinations. The author presents five main topics: the concept of law; the various kinds of law; the content of natural law; the conception of good as a base of law; the relations between natural law and positive law.
