Summary/Abstract: Relations and possibilities of cooperation between teachers and parents in early childhood education are issues from many years in the area of my research. In this article I focus on the social spacethat is being created for them. In the description of social space, two notions are deemed useful:location (determining distance to something) and territory (delimitation). From the point of viewof parents’ teacher relations, is interesting to me — those changes in the social space that affect:location of parents in relation to other people at school (including, for example, concepts, legalregulations); parents’ territory at school and its boundaries (including, for example, contact options, opinions, assessments). My reflections will concentrate on these issues.
