Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of personality traits on career values that are effective in determining students' career preferences. For this purpose, a research was conducted on 802 students studying at Aksaray University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. There are statistically significant positive correlations between the five factor personality dimensions and the career values dimensions in the research. According to research findings, it was determined that personality has significant effects on responsibility, emotional balance and dimensions of openness to development, autonomy as a career value; and extroversion, emotional balance and compliance dimensions have on security dimension; and developmental openness and compliance dimensions have on technical competence; and dimensions of responsibility and openness to development have on administrative competence; and openness to development and responsibility dimensions have on the dimension of entrepreneurship; responsibility, extroversion and openness to development have on the motto of self-devotion; openness to development and responsibility dimensions have on the challenge dimension, compatibility, emotional balance and dimensions of responsibility have on the dimension of life style.
