Summary/Abstract: The variability of the space of education and social reality negatively affects the teachers’ conditionand, hence, their work. The space of education is constantly changing, negatively, in the teachers’opinion, under the influence of successive reforms, which assume many goals, often difficult toachieve. The key is probably the fact that the teachers’ advices are not usually taken into consideration in terms of the implementation and the purpose of these reforms. Teachers face the fact:they receive directives, they get training opportunities, but in terms of implementing procedures, not actual efficiency. The implementation of incomprehensible tasks and the necessity to deal withthe changing social reality is a basic stressor, also leading to burnout. Stress management programspoint out the role of prevention but in school, as an organization, their suggested solutions are notapplied. This makes teachers remain a professional group particularly exposed to factors limitingthe implementation of key tasks in the didactic and educational process.
