Summary/Abstract: Social factors of disintegration of Yugoslavia are classified. External and internal factors are differentiated. External factors of immediate interest for the disintegration, and the ones of mediate interest are stressed. Classification of internal factors rests upon two principles: synchronic and diachronic. Historical, systemic and conjuctural factors belong to the first group, and political, economic, cultural, and socio-psychological factors make the second group. Combination of the two principles gives 12 factors of disintegration, and all these factors are discussed in brief. In the conclusion the causal analysis is approached. It is suggested that the basic factor of disiniegration of Yugoslavia, organizing all the others, is of systemic-political origin.
