Summary/Abstract: The breaking of ex-Yugoslavia was caused by the lack of democracy and liberal forces. With the death of President Tito the eight-sided federal consensus was upset, which caused the collapse of political system acording to ethnic principle. The author also makes a detailed analysis of the contribution of the federal constitution in the process. As the liberal federation failed in both, the political and economic sphere, the state of war was almost necessary to come.
