Summary/Abstract: The article named “The Law of Electronic Communications in the Czech Republic” deals primarily with the identification, description and analysis of contemporary electronic communications regulation in the Czech Republic. The article examines the historical context, the primary historical legal sources and regulatory developments in the subject area. The author identifies some of the legal problems arising along with the activity of the national regulatory authority – The Czech Telecommunication Office. The article also includes the passage about the European regulatory framework.
