Summary/Abstract: Use of the Internet has drastically changed the structure of the development of young people. The expansion of social networks as a new form of communication has influenced the development path of personalities of both children and youth..The basis for building successful pro-social relationships is emotional interaction which during direct communication makes it easier to detect and resolve potential conflicts among participants.In case of information transfer through social networks like Facebook, users of this communication network have the ability to filter their reaction to received content and send controlled response to other participant. The discrimination,risky forms of online behavior andcyber violence are widespread social phenomenon, andadolescentsare a vulnerable groupbecause they are in a delicate developmental period. This research aims to investigate the the extent to which social networks can be a cause of the development and dissemination of discriminatory messages and the negative social attitudes among younger adolescents. Also, how much belonging to a Facebook group with extreme negative or discriminatory messages can influence the violent behaviour of students in the upper grades of elementary school.
