Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to examine how the sales of new passenger cars in Poland are shaped, divided into regions in 2017. The automotive industry in Poland and on the luminaire is a powerful and ubiquitous part of every economy. Therefore, it is necessary to follow the development of the market for new vehicles to know in which direction a given country / region aims. The data needed for the articles were obtained from the publication of the Central Register of Vehicles and Drivers, the Central Statistical Office and official sales results presented by the producers themselves and automotive media. After compiling and calculating all data, it resulted that in the first quarter of 2017, only 0.37% of the Polish adult population purchased a private car for priced purposes and 0.77% for business purposes. Most cars because all together 65 933 were bought in the Mazowieckie region, and the least because only 3,546 items went to the Opolskie region.
