Summary/Abstract: In this paper, research is guided by the importance of preserving cultural heritage and its continuity of development, as a guarantor of Serbian national identity, instead of its diagnosis of an acute problem of a kind of ethnocide. Violence of every kind, whether by words, thoughts, works, and at various levels of our state, spontaneously and intensively exposes and creates. Certainly the bad organization of society, the wrong values and the misconception of the meaning of life lead to the imposition of bad (not) values of life. At the place of spiritual cultural values and the Orthodox Christian style of life, we are witnessing an aggressive push of the value of enjoyment and benefit as social ideals, that is, a mere utilitarian lifestyle that promotes personal gain, satisfaction and sensual enjoyment as the most desirable model of life. This state of mind is a consequence of both the political system and the cultural policy, as well as a negative general civilization trend, which has dominated our world of life for a long time.
