THE SUPERIOR INTEREST OF THE HUMAN BEING AND EUGENICS – THEORETICAL AND JURISPRUDENTIAL APPROACH

Summary/Abstract: The paper analyses a controversial issue, namely the eugenics, whose evolution faced a radical change, mainly in terms of legal regulations. Being introduced as a notion in 1883 by the English sociologist and psychologist, Francis Galon, the concept has much older roots, and it could be briefly defined as the practices aiming to genetically improve of human beings.
