Summary/Abstract: In all sectors, technology is changing so rapidly that as one is introduced, another is already in the pipeline. Owing to the difficulty in keeping up to the rapid changes, some technologies are shelved without being used. Concerning Education, those who do not adopt to innovation and technology are teachers and students. In this study, the behaviours of 70 engineering students studying in a university in Turkey were examined on the use of a mobile application in their lessons. They were randomly categorized in two groups. Only one group was prepared on the use of the application. The application was downloded by the two groups and their opinions about the application were taken via an online questionniare. Data was edited and an independent t-test was conducted with SPSS Windows (ver. 25). The result showed that there was a siginificant difference in the behavioural intentions between prepared and unprepared groups for change. The prepared students were more willing to use the application. Hence, students should be educated and sensitized on the importance of applications. Additionaly, a new system to incentivize students to easily participate in the change is proposed.
