Summary/Abstract: In this paper, attention is given to pejorativa, i.e. the lexemes of the abusive and contemptuous meaning, called the man in the daily newspapers Glas Srpske and Nezavisne novine. The aim of this research is to observe that verbal aggression is expressed in the language lexicon of the Serbian language in terms of disparaging, insulting in the language of these media. We have also noticed the linguistic means to achieve pejorating in the nomination from the mentioned material and found the most important lexical-semantic groups to which the registered pejorative lexicon belongs. It is evident that in terms of manifestation, it most often reflects the individual attitude of speakers or different collective (national) cultural stereotypes.
