Summary/Abstract: Media reporting about the violence against children is a really complex topic and it's becoming more present problem of the modern society. A phenomena of violence has a trend of growth and is a consequence of the destructive social relations. Since the focus of this problem is on the most sensitive population – children, processing of this events with it brings many moral and ethical dilemmas among the journalists.The goal of this work is to investigate how much are the topics about violence against children present in journalist reports as well as how much the newspapers respect the professional ethics. The analysis covers two daily newspapers in Republic of Srpska: Glas Srpske and Nezavisne novine.
