Assessment of the landscape value of Rzeszow and vicinity

Summary/Abstract: This study assessed the visual attractiveness of the landscape in the vicinity of Rzeszów with the point bonitation method. The main elements of the open landscape, i.e. denivelation, forests and surface waters, were assessed and the results indicated areas with the highest landscape values. The designated sites located in the nearest vicinity, after an appropriate preparation, could be made available for leisure purposes and for increasing the population.
