Summary/Abstract: Europe of nations meant so much for the realm of political science, political economy or social science in general. Obviously nowadays the European Union is nothing but a supranational agency. Is it enough to add a real (or fake) European dimension to the national or multinational identity of the continent’s 45 countries to get a decent picture of tomorrow’s Europe? Or could a Europe of regions, already foreseeable today, play the same role as Europe of nations in the past, far beyond its geographic borders, for the decades and centuries to come?
