Summary/Abstract: The study presents the provisions concerning a diocesan bishop`s right to impose a tax for the needs of the diocese and Seminary. Next, the author highlighted the issues in regards to which the interpretation of rules does not provide explicit resolutions and referred to the instances of applying the right to impose taxes in some cases in the Church in Poland.
