Summary/Abstract: The focus of this paper is demonstration of well-foundedness, that is to say, practicability and justifiability of a special sociology as a scientific discipline the subject matter of which is morality as interaction among people, which carries in itself a spiritual content, sense or meaning. In his undertaking of laying the foundations of sociology of morality, Lukić takes, as the starting point, several methodological premises: to begin with, the differentiation between philosophy (which forms non-experiential statements in principle) and science (the result of which are empirically verifiable views of reality) and, to that extent, differentiation between value and indicative judgments; then, interconnectedness of social phenomena – both among one another and with the society as a whole (he expresses it using the syntagm „double connection“), and, finally, historical materialism as a universal theoretical method.
