Summary/Abstract: Based on the collected archive materials, this paper tries to reconstruct: (1) a list of courses in the field of social sciences, which were part of the official secondary school curricula, (2) it presents sociology related contents within the curricula of these courses, and (3) the activities of the Serbian Sociological Society that are oriented towards the establishment of an independent sociological course within secondary school curricula.
