Summary/Abstract: This paper represents an attempt to reinterpret the content of the first post-war textbook in sociology used in secondary education (textbook by Mihailo Popović [1962]) and some specific topics within it, in accordance with the historical moment in which it occured and the status of sociology as a scientific discipline.
