Summary/Abstract: “Teme”, a social sciences journal of the University of Niš, founded in 1977, owing to the fact that it has thus far been edited three times by sociologists, has become recognised for its regular and systematic publishing of a large number of sociological studies, articles, essays, translations, and lexicon and encyclopaedic entries. There is no doubt that it has greatly contributed, particularly in the period from 2001 to 2011, to the development of Serbian sociology, even succeeding in affirming new fields, up until then not covered in other sociological publications. The paper provides, among other things, a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the presence of sociology on the pages of “Teme” in the above period.
