Summary/Abstract: The author of this paper talks about the free market and its consequences for the economy of underdeveloped countries. Washington Agreement (1990) restored the free market in Europe and some parts of the world (the countries of Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa and the like). The immense evil that the free market leaves behind is already visible. The free market is one of the most successful methods of destruction of the less developed economies. Without customs and other forms of protection, the underdeveloped economy is unable to provide competitive resistance and thus inevitably gets destroyed and minced by the developed economy. To prevent this, the customs and other forms of protection should be restored. Instead of the current non interference in economy by the state (free market), just the opposite is necessary – to let the state take the leading role in the economy and society. It is a way of overcoming the existing system of free market and all the evils it brings in. It is the way to remove the existing evil of the free market and avoid its violent destruction.
