Maria Moczydłowska, born in Łomża, was one of eight female members of the Legislative Sejm. She sought the mandate in the Częstochowa constituency. The example of Moczydłowska was the pretext to analyse and present how women were involved in the elections in such small centers as Łomża and Częstochowa, away from the capital.
