Summary/Abstract: The object of this work is to point out major currents in the development of the theoretical-methodological approach in Yugoslav sociologists’ works in Yugoslavia’s social structure. In researching into the Yugoslav social structure works of a whole range of authors displays the presence of an expressed theoretical-methodological incoherence which is strongly affected by these authors’ specific comprehension of sociology, and its place and role, non only in the system of sciences but also in society at large.
