Summary/Abstract: The recent upsurge of student movements throughout the world has contained a double-sided emancipatory potential: a tendency to complete the political emancipation of the bourgeois revolutions and the impulses of a universal human emancipation, which had been announced by the socialist revolutions. In both instances, we are dealing with a widening of the given boundaries of man’s freedom.
