Summary/Abstract: Marketplace for contemporary art functions within a discursive world far off from contemporary art practices inspired by avant-garde and neo avant-garde social experiments. Today Internet, as well as Art, are equally part of capitalistic society under which cultural institutions, art production and whole of Serbian society functions. By presenting and positioning the case study of internet art marketplace platform Widewalls.ch we’ll be analyzing crisscrossing of discourses of cyber culture, contemporary art and neoliberal capitalism in the specific context of Serbia and its transitional issues.
