Summary/Abstract: The right to trial within a reasonable time is one of the basic postulates of modern states and the rule of law. Lately, this right represents subject of interest in legal theory and practice in the Republic of Serbia. But, as it seems, this right is guaranteed only in judicial procedure, excluding its application in administrative procedure. Because of it, this paper aims to analyses the right to decision making within a reasonable time in administrative procedure in the Republic of Serbia. Author examines the basic elements of this right in administrative procedure, with focus on state legislation, as well as national and European jurisprudence about this issue. In conclusion, author pointed out the possible ways of improving the regulations regarding the right do decision making within a reasonable time in Serbian administrative law.
