Summary/Abstract: In this work the author discusses socio-economic conditions for Yugoslav migrant Workers’ return from abroad, of workers employed in Sweden in particular. The basic question, posed in the work, is whether any of the sauses — above all, those of the economic nature — that affected workes to go abroad have changed during the fifteen years of their staying there. Has the economic development of regions Recording workers’ massive departure abroad improved to the extent that their return home today would be desirable i.e. necessary or they would still constitute a »relative surplus of the population« that can hardly get employment. While trying to answer these questions the author points out the basic charcteristics and structure of Yugoslavia’s labour abroad, in Sweden in particular.
