AN ATTEMPT FOR THE DEFINITION AND RESEARCH OF THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC INSECURITY

Summary/Abstract: Socio-economic security, as the complex social category, has historically class caracteristics. To realise security socially, it is neceseary to create conditions for the elimination of socio-economic insecurity, as a bio-phisical, social caracteristic of human being, which is one of his negative historical determinations. Having in mind that the one of the main tasks of socialist, selfmanaging society is to ensure rising security to all the membere of society, it is obvious that the past praxis is caracterized by the existence of disharmony between proclaimed attitudes and their practical realisation. It was the motive for the research in the organisation of associated labour »DIO« (Dalmatian shoe industry) Split-complex organisation of associated labour »Jugoplastika« — Split. The task was to find out the degree of socialization of socio-economic security.
