Summary/Abstract: In this article the author analyses dependence between the factors of economic development on one side and change’s in Yugoslavia’s socio-professional and class structure on the other. This interdependence is illustrated by the indicators of a changed productive and non-productive activities ratio (three decades ago it was 85:15 while today it amounts approximately to 75 : 25 percent).
