SOCIOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF AN EDUCATIONAL EXPERIMENT

Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the philosophy and describes the work of the White Lion Street Free School. This school was established in the working clase section of East London, where children are frecently abandoned to themselves, and where the British public educational system was not very efficient. The high rate of absenteeism and the lack Of appreciation of any education on ipart of the children were the probleme to solve.
