The Educational System and the Digital World

Summary/Abstract: This article wants to study the contemporary education system and the interaction between it and the digital world, brought by modern technology. If the actual education system arises in the nineteenth century, with the industrialization and modernization of Western societies, the question that arises is to what extent it faces today the current demands imposed by the evolution of digital technology. I presented in this article the point of view of the Canadian author Don Tapscott, who makes a passionate plea for the education of the future.
