Summary/Abstract: Mediation is a useful form of managing relationships and resolving conflicts in an enterprise. The use of mediation results from the organizational culture of the enterprise. As an institution regulated by law, it is a tool for solving individual and collective labour disputes. It also fosters dialogue, ensures proper communication, cooperation, and creative problem solving. The pilot studies carried out in 20 Polish enterprises show that they use mediation, yet still quite rarely.
