Summary/Abstract: This article aims to study the evolution of higher education in Romania after 1989 and the correlation between higher education and the labor market, starting from the “Performance Audit Report in Higher Education” published by the Romanian Court of Accounts in 2016. Given the discrepancy between the two areas, highlighted by data / facts, I tried to identify the causes of these discrepancies and suggest possible solutions.
