Summary/Abstract: This article has two main parts. In the first one it is shown that the development of sociological method, especialy from the 1930’s, has been under the influence of the method that natural sciences had developed earlier. In the name of objectivity, preciseness and quantifiability there were developed very rigorous techniques in the study of man and society.
