Summary/Abstract: The presented article concerns analysis of dumping occurring in the corporate insurance market in the public entities sector. The subject of the work is insurance contracts concluded by local government units, that must take special care to protect owned property and protect their financial interests. Insurance contracts concluded in the mode of public procurement are very specific due to the charac- teristics of the municipalities, high legal regulation of the way of concluding the contract, as well as the relatively low cost of insurance security. The aim of this article is to pay attention to the problem and consequences of underselling in the insurance contracts concluded by the local government units. This problem has not been widely described.
