Summary/Abstract: Conflict situations generated by inadequate, exaggerated, unspoken emotions and emotional reactions, little understood by pre-schoolers, fosters degraded emotional and social development later in adolescence and even adulthood. Behaviours and responses are learned. Our study is an urge for constant availability and attention from the adults involved with pre-schoolers - teachers and parents alike - to ensure through particular early education programs interventions that develop and optimize the emotional and social skills of preschool children
