Summary/Abstract: The current article is dedicated to the traditions and studies of the particular group of women living traditionally in eastern parts of Myanmar (former Burma) in the vicinity of the present Thai-Myanmar border. There has been quite a confusion concerning the names that have been used about this ethnic group.
