THE IMPORTANCE OF STAGE MOVEMENT IN THE ANIMATION THEATER

Summary/Abstract: The present paper aims to present the role of stage movement in the student-actor education in the animation theatre based on practical and theoretical research in the field of theatre and pedagogy. After analyzing the puppet student’s training process where he is behind the screen and the working tool is the puppet that he is animating, I realized that an extremely important part in the formation of the puppet actor deserves special attention. This is the title of „The Importance of the Stage Movement in the Animation Theatre”, where the physical training of the actor plays an extremely important role as well as stage speaking, rhythmic, singing, etc.
