Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of survey conducted in the January of 2011 at the Department of Geography and Land Management, Vilnius University. The survey was based on the interviewing the graduates of geography bachelor and master studies (2006–2010) on the issues of their employment possibilities after graduation and the advantages and weaknesses of the study programme in finding jobs. The main objective of the survey was to determine the potential factors facilitating placement of geography graduates. The survey showed that it does not take very long for the graduates of geography to find jobs according to their qualification. For even better results, it is necessary to increase the number of practical subjects.
