Summary/Abstract: The article consists of eight parts, wich showing the importance of the work of academician Bieliukas Kazimieras to the development of science in limnology, the development of academic geography, as well as for the organisation of scientific publications. In the first part The way of life and work are provide information on academician childhood, working years. In the second part Directions of scientific work and publish works in a nutshell description of lakes morfological and morfometric research also method of batigraphic curves, analyzed the publications. In the third paragraph The pedagogical-methodical activity are summarizing Bieliukas K. Pedagogic work, describing methodical format books.
