Summary/Abstract: Feeding practices have left tracks in different expressions and proverbs of Romanian language. The act of eating works as a metaphor for aggression, for the loss, for the relationship with the other. The survival of these phrases, that keeps our imagination, brings a world where hunger evoked behaviors by which the individual held his world.
