Summary/Abstract: In this research paper, we aim to formulate some considerations regarding a possible meeting point of the approaches to the inner life, as specified in the philocalic spirituality, and most recent ones, in the area of neuro¬sciences, adding some final remarks regarding some novel aspects in the technical sphere, i.e. the use of digital devices for monitoring physiological parameters.
