Summary/Abstract: As the information in the modern society is the most valuable commodity, with the rule that the quickest wins on the information market, the televisions who have correspondents have a real advantage over the other. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the importance and the function of the TV reporters and correspondents network in the public service media and commercial TV stations with national frequency programs, especially taking into account the effect of technological change and communication power of new media! Who are the correspondents, what their job involves, the challenges that they face, what is their participation in the production of news programs, but also whether they are "couriers" of the multimedia journalism in Serbia – we will try to answer in this paper. While researching, we are trying to answer for how long does "the story" of the correspondents lastsat in the Serbian journalism, what was their impact in specific instances, is their job changing under the influence of technology, and in particular, are the television correspondents today educated for multimedia journalism?
